On a cool autumn night I was able to acquire the use of Wikstrom Telephones' ASV and talk my trusty neighbor and co-worker Mr. Paul Hanson into helping me tear off a few feet of soil to get things ready for the garage slab.

I was initally concerned that I wouldn't have time in the spring to get the garage done in the time alloted me by my financial institution. Since I've done some changes to how I may construct the garage so the timing is not as crucial as it once was. A special thanks to Rob Anderson Construction for fitting things in at the last second and doing a great job.

The old yard in all its rolling majesty. Many an ankle has fallen prey to such terrain. The badmitten incident is still fresh in our memory.


Paul was nice enough to let me be the first to break the surface of the sod.


Deep into the night we worked. Danika and Jude were cheering us on as we slaved away.
